Friends,
Please help me out from this dire & nasty situation.
 I had upgraded Ubuntu-8.04.1(64-bit version) to Ubuntu-8.10***(64-bit
version).

*Now when I want to boot to Ubuntu-8.10***,then I am unable to boot in
boot up screen, and the following message shows:-*

    *root(hd0,6)
Filesystem type is ext2fs,partition type 0x83
   configfile /boot/grub/menu.lst

Error24:Attempt to access block outside partition

     Press any key to continue...*

Recently I have installed the Mandriva 2009(Free)onto my desktop, which is
the default OS(with its GRUB IMAGE) to boot.

*Inside Mandriva 2009 in a terminal window it shows as:*

[root at localhost ~]# fdisk -l
