Hi
i tried to use fdisk -l to see if any thing makes sense
here it is
ram at ram-laptop:~$ sudo fdisk -l

the ubuntu device.map
# gedit /boot/grub/device.map
is (hd0) /dev/sda
so maybe i should just add the external hard disk as hd1
wonder if this will work ??
any tips
