[ubuntu-in] Looking for some software / solutions

Hi

Was searching for one software and one solution.

First a simple address book - database - through which i can choose 
which address's to print - based on some criteria , out of the whole 
database and that such an address book / database should have the option 
of being able to add non printing fields.

Second i use thunderbird and have often need to send mails to more than 
a few people - so is there a solution which allows me to bcc the 
selected list of addresses instead of having to to it by hand.

any suggestions
