[ubuntu-in] Trying to install Gutsy, Gparted says bad sectors but XP CHKDSK says NO

Thank you for the suggestion. I have joined the bug list just now, and
sent my question there. Let us see what they say.

In the mean time if anyone else on this Ubuntu list has a further
suggestion, I would be deeply grateful. I am leaving in a few days for
India and will be delivering this laptop to a friend there. So I would
like to have the dual boot set up for him before I leave.
