Hello,
I installed Dapper 6.06 LTS on an old laptop.
I commonly use lftp and within that I use pget -c -n command often. But in
this version of lftp in Dapper, there is no -c available, so I can not
restart stopped downloads. What to do? any suggestions?
Also, I have another Gutsy 7.10 installation on a Toshiba A135-S2396 Celeron
M520 installation. I have two major issues there.
1. The machine takes forever to boot. Just too long.
2. When I installed Gutsy from the ShipIt CD, without the proprietory ATI
fglrx drivers, putting the laptop on standby etc worked fine. But after the
installation of ATI drivers, the machine can not be put on standby or
hibernate and also it is impossible to bring it back, and a hard reboot is
required.
Any ideas?
