[ubuntu-in] Do any of these scanners work with Linux

Hi

am trying to get buy a scanner and given the budget range and the 
requirements the following models are all potentials

*But* none of them are mentioned on the sane project page as *working* 
with linux

Epson Perfection V500 Photo -sane project - no mention
