I know exactly what device you are talking about, i have the same one at
home and have not had the time to crack it under 8.10 but am sending you
some links and you may have to make changes to make it work under 8.10

The links that work are for 7.04 and 7.10

you may need to combine this information with the mail i just posted
yesterday on setting up reliance zte 880

using the lsusb -v command to find the product id and vendor id

and the modprobe command to load the appropriate serial usb drive
I cannot be sure because have not had the opportunity to try it.
