 Hmm, if you are not looking at latest processors then you should be
able to get a deal in India itself. Alternatively if you happen to
know anyone coming from Thailand, you can ask them to carry a lappy
with them. Free trade agreement between Thailand and India allow
carrying of one or two packed laptops (not sure about real numbers).
You can try last years Acer laptops models from Thailand, should fit
in your budget.
