Thanks Mr. Pandit! But my question was slightly different than what you
answered. Let me rephrase it in smaller parts:

1. Do Laptops normally contain an FM tuner card (eg. Compaq Presario C500)
or does it have to be bought separately and installed externally?

2. Is it the same as a TV tuner card? Or is it separate from that?

3. What does the above have to do with the link www.lirc.org? A cursory
glance
shows that its a site about infra red remote control. Am I missing some
connection?
