Please tell us your problem correctly. There is difference between 1)
not able to play 2) not getting any sound 3) not getting any video.
There is a video file in /usr/share/example-content named 'Experience
Ubuntu.ogg'. Let us know if it plays well with sound. If it does then
there is no problem with your PC.

Also tell us what packages did you install. Please tell us exact names
and not 'all gstreamer packages'.

And finally tell us what audio/video files you are trying to play i.e.
mp3, mpeg, avi etc, so that we can suggest proper packages to you.
