The choice depends on the size of the pendrive. FAT16 is capable of
addressing 2^16 bytes (64 KiB) whereas FAT32 is capable of
addressing 2^32 bytes (4 GiB).
If you happen to own a pendrive with capacity greater than 4 GiB,
then you will have to use FAT64 (AFAIK this does not yet exist) or
another file system like ext2 that does not suffer from this problem.
