[ubuntu-in] no sound on ubuntu 7.04 on toshiba satellite A100

Hi Sanvi,
Can you see if the sound card is coming up in lspci. In my two other
desktops when the Sound card was not detected the Mixer button came mute by
default.
Can you also try fooling around with System - > Preferences -> sound
