[ubuntu-in] Newbie - Introduction

Hello I am new to Ubuntu well I have played with
different Distro's for a few years but never really
got into them in depth because of frustration.  
I now have switched all my home computing to Ubuntu
6.10.  I have to say everything was set up and working
in an afternoon.  I keep all of my media and files on
a home server so the transition was extremely simple.
Gnome is perfect!  I am not a fan of all the fluff in
a GUI so I really dig it.  I had a problem with my
nvidia driver at first, but was able to resolve it by
editing xorg.conf.
I am really a fan of this OS after using it just a few days.
