[ubuntu-in] Problem after installation

Hello there!

I recently installed Ubuntu 5.10 and the installation process went smoothly.
When I rebooted my PC, and started Ubuntu from the GRUB Boot Loader,
I got the splash screen displaying some messages. It happened to be that
nothing happened after the message "*Starting Hotplug subsystem*". The
system just freezed. What must be the problem. Immediate solution needed.
