Hey Guys!
As Vilas mentioned, I can make DVDs for the repository. As we all know there
are lot more packages available in repositories, than on the initial UBUNTU
CD. Although you will be able to get UBUNTU installation CD directly from
Canonical, you will need internet connection to add lots of extra program,
and there the DVD will come into play. If you think that there won't be
enough DVD drives available (I doubt thought), I will burn the repositories
in a stack of CDs.
As far as Vilas's question of Evolution is concerned, I think UBUNTU Forums
(www.ubuntuforums.org) should have an answer for that. I personally like and
use KOntact (with Kmail in it), and I can probably troubleshoot in that.
As far as printed material is concerned, I did write a couple of blogs about
some basic stuff (opensource, firefox, thundebird), but the only authentic
source of step by step guide should be UBUNTU itself, and there are a couple
of books available for that.
Welcome to all the new members. It's a great addition to the community.
Cheers
Anurag
