GLOBAL JAMS!!! Even though I have never fixed a single bug in my life I love these things. I have a meeting with the computer society in UL during the week and will ask about hosting for a venue and get back to everyone but I will make one in Limerick happen.

On this topic can anyone point me to anything about bug solving? I'm an ok programmer but no idea how to fix bugs.

On Sun, Jan 22, 2012 at 12:00 PM, <ubuntu-ie-request@lists.ubuntu.com> wrote:
Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if any thought has gone into holding UGJ events for the current cycle? UGJ is due to take place from 2nd - 4th of March 2012 (a mere 6 weeks away!) to help with the polishing of Ubuntu 12.04, Precise Pangolin, details at:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGlobalJam

Importantly, 12.04 is an LTS release but as it is the first LTS which will have five years support on the Desktop as well as the Server there is arguably a much greater significance in ensuring that this release is as bug free as possible.

Thoughts?

Regards,

Mike O'Donohue
