The DVDs are still there for loco teams to request them which is good to
see. The online UDS is being done as it means more people can be
involved regularly rather than once every 6 months for a week at a time,
which means no more taking time off for work for a week. If you take
part once every 3 months ( over two days) have access to all the
videos to watch in your own time it means even more people who couldn't
get time off work, or visas to attend now have the opportunity to take
part.

All of the sessions are online and recorded, blueprints and irc sessions
will all be public and can be accessed afterwards so hopefully it will
encourage others to get involved and see how things are organised in the
Ubuntu community. Like with physically UDS which has been tweaked each
time, reviewed and changed to make it better I'm sure the same will
happen for the virtual UDS. http://summit.ubuntu.com/uds-1303/ don't
forget to keep an eye on schedule!
