Ubuntu round up of news

Hey laura , 
Do you know how this image for the nexus will work?
Will this image be able to work on other android phone or 
will we have to wait for canonical to make new images for different 
phones ( or 3rd party's)
Basically , if i try to use this image on a 
different  android phone will the installer stop me or will the 
performance just be not as good ? ( ie ,will the buttons work)

I think the promotional video 
by Mark said that if your phone will run android , ubuntu will be able 
to run on it ( I dont know if that was the original promo video or not  
though )
