Hi All,
At the last team IRC meeting on 21 Mar 12 the date on which we would
hold our Dublin release party was confirmed as Saturday 28th of April,
2012. The minutes and logs from that meeting can be found at:

There was numerous suggestions put forward regarding possible venues for
this release party (all are listed in the meeting logs).
Can we trash this out on the mailing list and make the final venue
decision here or should the final decision wait until the next IRC
meeting which is due to take place on 18 Apr 12? (for agenda see:
http://loco.ubuntu.com/meetings/ubuntu-ie/382/detail/ )
This is an important release of Ubuntu being the first iteration which
will have 5 years support on both the desktop and server.
There was a suggestion at the team IRC meeting of 21 Mar 12 that there
might be a release party in Limerick also.
Any update on that? Indeed is there any interest in organising a release
party elsewhere?
Kind Regards,
Mike
