Party in Ireland for New Year's Eve

Hey there everyone!

A few (currently 4... hopefully a few more) people from the German
ubuntu community planning to raise a party in Dublin for New Year's
Eve and do not want to celebrate this alone.  So... Do you guys do
some party in this time window there too, any thoughts we could meet
each other, any crazy things going on in Ireland from 30th Dec to 01
Jan?
