Well im sure you could go to the biannual ask Mark session. The first
two points are pretty much opinion.
So to go into more detail, Unity is a big change but looking at my
desktop at the moment its stable and pretty slick looking, the
interface is aware of recency and frequency of events for convenience.
The whole thing is pretty new but we are still trying to improve it
and for the next LTS release it should be just about perfect. Remember
its only the first release in its current form (there was a big shift
in the backend code that I wont even try to explain on this list) so
there is going to be fixes to the rough edges but is perfectly usable
and the term "utter sespool" is a great disrespect to the work of
people who really care about their work.
"Hateful distro" - where is the hate? Give solid examples and ill answer them.
"Poor attitude" - The banshee incident was a pure business decision
that was handled incorrectly at the time but put simply we don't have
a poor attitude our goal remains the same to make the best operating
system in the world and that is a very positive goal. Also give more
examples on this too I want to hear what you think we are doing wrong.
Ending note please use more careful language on a public mailing list
and adhere to the code of conduct which applies to this list in
particular the be respectful bit since I think you were pretty close
to being in breach of that clause
