[ubuntu-hu] VLC probléma

Sziasztok!

Ubuntu 7.10-et használok a legújabb frissítésekkel.
VLC-t nem tudom elindítani. Ha konzolban próbálom, akkor ezt írja ki:

/balazs at balazs:~$ vlc

Elméletben csak a felajánlott frissítéseket telepítettem, mást nem 
változtattam a rendszerben.
Próbáltam eltávolítani és újratelepíteni a VLC-t, de ne változottt semmi.
Mplayer és Totem megy.

Van ötletetek, hogy hogyan álljak neki a probléma megoldásának?
