I joined the team recently because I'm very interested in
improving the support to my local people (i.e. Catalonia[1])
in our own language, Catalan. We've started a LoCoTeam[2]
(still unofficial) and we have a huge traffic in our mailing
list[3] (150 members) and most of it is support requests
that I'd like to deal with through our Launchpad team[4] as
a support contact. However, having some integration from
the mailing list to the support tracker would make things
a lot easier for everybody[5] (bug 53292).

Launchpad has support for many languages, but the website
and mail aren't translated to those languages; I know that
there's work-in-progress to solve that but I think that this
is critical to lever the non-English user base, specially in
support tracker product.

Moreover, the non-English support contacts get all the English
support requests together with the ones listed in their language
preferences[6] (bug 81369).

What do you thing about this?
