1) swap

Βασικά είναι η χρήση που θες να κάνεις. Αν πχ έχει μηχανημα που ειναι heavy
duty DB server μπορεί να έχει και δίσκο ολόκληρο swap 500 γιγα!
Δεν υπάρχει μαγική συνταγή, άπαξ και πρέπει να το χρησιμοποιήσεις απλά
φρόντισε να έχεις αρκετό όσο χρειάζεται το σύστημά σου. Είναι σαν τη vitrual
memory που είχαμε στα windows. Πχ το development pc μου έχει 16gb ram, swap
έχω δώσει 4gb απο τον 1 τερα δίσκο μου. Πρακτικά δε θα
τον χρησιμοποιήσω ποτέ αλλά δε θα μου λείψουν :)

Αναφορικά δε με τη φράση " swap δεν θα καταλάβει ποτέ πάνω από 500 mbyt"
βασικά δεν ισχύει ( έλα δες το server παραγωγής που έχω :)

2) Αναφορικά με το root Άγγελε στο δικο μου Ubuntu είναι ξεχωριστα!
