Cannot install linux on my HP Probook 4510S

Hi,

This is really strange, can you provide more details? Its sound like a disk
issue, do you by any chance have activated the SATA RAID option on your BIOS
(if you have one) because once I have similar issue and it was due to the
fact of the OS not beeing able to communicate with HD.
