Mplayer (+ Beryl + XGL [ATI]) issue

Σε Ubuntu Feisty Fawn 7.04 με κάρτα γραφικών ΑΤΙ Χ1600 έχω εγκαταστήσει:

1. Τους drivers της ΑΤΙ/AMD 8.36.5
2. beryl-core 0.2.1
3. XGL

Οι ρυθμίσεις του Mplayer είναι ως εξής:
Video drivers: xv (X11/xv)

Οι ακόλουθες επιλογές είναι τσεκαρισμένες:

(*) Enable double buffering
(*) Enable direct rendering


Όταν τρέχω Gnome με Beryl+Xgl ο mplayer ξεκινάει κανονικά αλλά το παράθυρο
του video εξαφανίζεται και μένουν μόνο τα controls.
Εικόνα δεν έχω αλλά ο ήχος ακούγεται κανονικά.

Όταν τρέχω Gnome χωρίς Beryl+Xgl ο mplayer με τις ίδιες ρυθμίσεις δουλεύει
κανονικά.

Υποψιάζομαι ότι έχει να κάνει κάτι με το xgl είτε με τις ρυθμίσεις της
κάρτας γραφικών.
