Καλημέρα,

Έχω μια απορία. Πέρα από την DejaVu δεν θα υπάρχει hinting στις υπόλοιπες γραμματοσειρές Mg open, kanonika, modata, Free Serif κλπ?
Υπάρχουν επίσης οι γραμματοσειρές της Εταιρείας Ελληνικών Τυπογραφικών Στοιχείων http://greekfontsociety.org/pages/gr_typefaces.html οι οποίες είναι ιστορικές ελληνικές γραμματοσειρές.
Υπάρχουν και οι γραμματοσειρές της Sil International όπως η Gentium http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?site_id=nrsi&item_id=Gentium η οποία είναι αποτέλεσμα μελέτης για την αναγνωσιμότητα των χαρακτήρων.
Όλες οι παραπάνω είναι ελεύθερες γραμματοσειρές. Νομίζω ότι είναι σημαντικό να υποστηρίζονται.
Θα υπήρχε δυνατότητα να προβάλλονται εξίσου καθαρά κάποιες από τις παραπάνω;

hi,

as already said in another thread i am going to tweak the metrics a bit. 
for that i need help on following issues:

- there are several metric entries, which ones exactly are used by 
freetype or other important renderers in linux?
- can you provide me with samples with the following text in sans, 36pt 
(note the line break)? i'd like to see mac and linux in comparison to 
windows.

- most windows applications (including uniscribe) apparently ignore line 
gap entries. word is the only notable exception. is the same true for 
mac and linux programs?
- are vera and dejavu displayed the same in respect to line height?
