Not a problem. Glad I could help.
Regarding Xdiagnose, as someone who has had to use it to fix
performance issues myself, I'd like to request that it be added to
gnome-control-center along with the "disks" application if at all
possible.

Both of these applications offer many important settings such as
disabling/enabling bootloader graphics and write cache(respectively)
and much more. As such, I feel like they both deserve a spot in the
settings application.
Is there a Minecraft package?

No, doesn't look like there is. You download an .jar that then
installs the game into the user folder without registering
anything(In other words, search doesn't show it either when you
think it would).
If its not specific to a particular game then yes, though could
well be a nvidia bug

Found the reason for the performance issues. Apparently I had forgot
to install the Intel CPU firmware updates. Everything is working
great now except one game in particular(Borderlands 2), but its
probably just a badly ported game.
Yes, I am. However, I'm talking about when starting Ubuntu Gnome
from either USB/Live or initial first boot/whenever you have open
source drivers installed.
You could file a bug against that extension (probably on github?)
Alright. I'll just find another extension to use for now. I really
dislike the big, bulky Gnome titlebars.
I'd file it against steam itself
Just tried but it said the package wasn't installed... but it is? I
don't really don't understand whats up with that. I'm using steam
right now...
