No problem. Here's the info:<br>
<br>
"1) Open up a terminal and type:<br>
<div>
<div>Code:</div>
<pre style="min-height:36px">gksudo gedit /usr/share/software-center/ui/gtk3/css/softwarecenter.css</pre>
</div>
2) The first two lines should look like this:<br>
<div>
<div>Code:</div>
<pre style="min-height:48px">@define-color light-aubergine #DED7DB;
@define-color super-light-aubergine #F4F1F3;</pre>
</div>
Copy and paste those two lines right below then comment out the
originals. Change the two HTML color codes (#DED7DB and #F4F1F3) to
your preferred dark colors so that light text will show up.<br>
<br>
3) Save and close gedit. Launch Ubuntu Software Center to check out
the results"<br>

This is actually should be reported as a bug to the Ubuntu GNOME
team. They probably already know about it. Maybe there's an easy
way of automatically selecting a different CSS file when dark
theme is selected. It's a super easy fix. <br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
With regards to the other issue. Which web browser is the problem
in? <br>
<br>
I'm using the Numix window theme with the Adwaitia GTK+ theme
which work fine.<br>
<br>
<br>
Hope that helps<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br>

Some apps show text in white on a white background or black
text on a<br>
black background, making it impossible to read. Is this what
you're<br>
referring to?<br>
<br>
You can edit the CSS file for the Software Centre to make
the text<br>
black. I can send you a link explaining this if you want.<br>
<br>
Never had this problem with Firefox and Chromium. GNOME Web
does have<br>
this problem though, It can be considered a bug.<br>
