Maybe this has been proposed and maybe it's blunt obvious, still I
need to ask,

would it be possible to make this official for those who contribute
so they can publish their contribution in their CV and boost their
chances of landing a job and in case a future employer would want to
dig up more info to vouch for them?

This could bring in many new volunteers as well as
startle the motivation of existing contributors granted they could
include the Ubuntu GNOME project into their CV and have it
legitimized.

Personally I think it's rather interesting to have it as part of
one's resume because when an employer contacts the Ubuntu GNOME
board of directors it would be backed up properly, helping out an
individual to land a position.

Then people would perhaps spend even more time on the project
because they would boost their own chances for a successful future
career.

A win-win for everyone.
