Hi Satyajit,
I think you have really left this a bit late.

While I am not opposed to shipping extra themes, I will not be
    putting a non-default theme in ubuntu-gnome-default-settings.
Despite what you say, GTK themes do break each and every cycle,
perhaps not as critical but still plenty of glitches etc. I also
have a suspicion that people looking for a theme, are at a first
instance going to search google for it, rather than checking what is
    installed.

Now the right way to do this would be to get your theme into the
ubuntu Archives as a package, then we could get it included in the
default install (as an additional theme) if the rest of the artwork
team are happy with that. All of this may be a little late for
trusty however you could atleast try.
I have been busy due to my exams. My exams will finish
                  on 22nd. So I
can be back in action after that.

For now, when I joined, I talked with Alfredo with the
                  possibility of
including new themes and wallpapers. The wallpaper
                  contest is already
live. So lets come to the themes.

We cannot include a Gnome Shell theme for obvious
                  reasons. They break
every release, and when a user installs a newer Gnome
                  version through
PPA, it'll be pretty broken.

Coming to GTK themes, they no longer break for quite a
                  few Gnome
releases. New widgets are introduced, but the theme is
                  backwards
compatible. So I think it's safe to include a GTK
                  theme. I'll make
sure it is updated for latest GNOME.

                I have a theme, named Evolve <http://fav.me/d4dn66o>, that I
                would

propose to include in Ubuntu GNOME.

It doesn't use any engine, so no extra dependency. Let
                  me know what
you think.
Does it mean that the default GTK theme will be replaced?
In that case I will be completely against the change, as
we are Ubuntu GNOME (for good and bad).
