<p dir="ltr">I really think this last thing is a thing of routine. It's all about getting used to it. I'm sure someone will come up with an extension to revert to the old distribution. </p>

<div dir="ltr">Last thing: I really don't like the icons merge on the upper right of the desktop. That totally counter productive cuz now I can't easly access to sound options or change screen brightness quickly with scroll without any click... They really should let user to choice between merge or no merge.<div>
<br></div><div>Anyway I know this is a gnome team choice and it is nothing to do with you guys but I just wanted to let you know :-D</div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br clear="all"><div><br>--<br>HadiM</div>

<div dir="ltr">Ok. I just tried ppa staging on 13.10 and gnome seems to work fine BUT none extensions are working. I guess only because <a href="tel:3.9.91" value="+333991" target="_blank">3.9.91</a> (actual dev 3.10 version) are not in metadata.json of extensions. I could change it manually and try extensions one by one but I didnt want to... So I purge ppa staging and I am know back to initial Ubuntu Gnome 13.10 with gnome3 ppa. <div>
<br></div><div>So I ask again: will Ubuntu Gnome team planned to switch from 3.8 to 3.10 in stable gnome3 ppa ?</div><div><br></div><div>PS: take care if you purge ppa staging on 13.10, ubuntu-gnome-desktop and network-manager was removed during purge... I had to manually setup a wired connection on console to be able to reinstall these two packages.</div>

Using it or not is at your will. </p>

<div dir="ltr">Hello,<div><br></div><div>I saw gnome 3.10 packages in ppa staging but I am not certain it's very safe to use this ppa for daily usage. I know Ubuntu won't bring Gnome 3.10 in 13.10 but I would like to know if Ubuntu Gnome team planned to bring it in gnome 3 ppa ?<div>
<br></div><div>And what about gnome extension if we enable gnome 3.10 ? It will be the same mess as when we switch from 3.6 to 3.8 ? Will we have to wait extension developers upgrade to the new API (even if most of the time it's only about adding 3.10 in metadata.json...).</div>
