The Ubuntu GNOME team is proud to announce the release of Ubuntu GNOME
16.04.2 LTS. This update is recommended for all users.

As usual, this point release includes many updates, and updated
installation media has been provided so that fewer updates will need
to be downloaded after installation. These include security updates
and corrections for other high-impact bugs, with a focus on
maintaining stability and compatibility with Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 LTS.

Further maintenance updates will be provided periodically until April 2019.

What's New
===========

If you have previously installed 16.04.1, all you need to do to opt in
to the new kernel is install linux-generic-hwe-16.04. The new graphics
drivers are just regular updates; no need to install anything else.

GNOME Maps has been included in Ubuntu GNOME 16.04.2.
