Is the staging repository stable yet?

Hi

This is the first time i send a message to a list like this so I hope I'm
not doing anything wrong.

Anyway, at some stage during 15.10's lifetime i read a message somewhere
that the staging ppa was now considered stable and safe to use. I dont
remember where i read this.

But for 16.04 I havent yet seen such a message anywhere.

So my question is: Is staging considered stable by now, and if not where
will the announcement be made when it finally is considered stable. Will it
be announced here? Twitter? Website?

As I'm not on Google+ i suppose it might have been announced there. Anyway,
please announce it on every available channel, that would be very helpful :)
