Interesting thread, but obviously don't have 'xfconf' installed.

I did find an 'xsettings' file in '/usr/lib/gnome-settings-daemon-3.0'
and some other interesting files, but without install xfce am unsure how
to proceed with the solution mentioned in your reference. Or, am I
missing something?
