Looking at the release notes[1], it is a preview application along with
Calendar and Characters.

I understand. Perhaps providing just the packages for testing purposes
in the repo until it comes out of preview might help iron out any issues
on our end (will it help?).
If this happens, maybe a short note about the preview apps in the
release notes to advise users about the stability of these packages
might be a good idea.
If it's going to be to much work for now, maybe we can consider doing it
in the next cycle?
I'm keen to help out with testing of Calendar and Books.
