Newer Gnome on older laptops?

I work perfectly with 60fps graphics and you have 600!
I see most of your CPU time is spent in P2P (Torrent) and web browsing
(firefox).

Does desktop move faster just booted and with no applications running?
What exactly makes you feel Gnome slow?
