Problems after dist-upgrade

So I did a dist upgrade and rebooted and now things have been throwing

Soft Lockup: CPU #2 stuck for 22s! [Xorg:1120]

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Nvidia proprietary drivers.
I booted the recovery mode on both kernels that I have installed.

I am not sure if this is a bug or not thats why I haven't filed a bug.

Here are today's apt history.log
