I forgot to mention. I will use  <http://wiki.ubuntu-br.org/> http://wiki.ubuntu-br.org/ to host this translation. I am not sure other LoCo Teams have language-specific wikis, but Brazilian and Portuguese users use this one as well, AFAIK. :)

Wiki updated with my info (which reminds me about to update my own wiki page) and blueprint subscribed.

I will start translate Ubuntu GNOME wiki area to Brazilian this weekend.

 

Hmm, can we wait little bit until we find out 'where' to host that translation? :D
I mean, that is not going to live on the https://wiki.ubuntu.com area because AFAIK, it is only in English unless I am missing something?

While I do appreciate the motivation people are showing for translation but we really do need to agree 'where' to host these translated text?

AFAIK, Ubuntu flavors benefits directly of mainstream translations. So if we need Ubuntu GNOME's Gnome Shell fully translated to, say, French or Turkish, is very interesting to join the respective translation teams in GNOME Project.

Nevertheless, a specific Team to care about translations parallel to The other teams, with people focused on, is a very good idea. Count on me 😃
