GNOME Ubuntu Logo

Alfre I love ur design. It is awsome. However, what I think about the color is that it shouldn't be black because won't be appealing to nowadays colored screen, ladies nd men wt high flambouyant test like me. In this regards, I do think is either the whole logo should be colored green or mix both green and brown to make it appear as Karki. Ultimately the choice of color can be with respect to both GNOME and Ubuntu color mixed together or interchanged(swap).

One of the reasons I asked to change the name from Ubuntu GNOME to any
other name (eg. Gubuntu) is just because this long logos with two names is
just hard to pronounce and also hard to do something since we need to fit
both GNOME guidelines and Ubuntu guidelines.

With the name "Ubuntu GNOME" theres no way to make a different logo. Also,
just remember that (they always say it is not true) GNOME today is mostly a
RedHat project and they are not going make things easy to us.

Sadly :(

The only thing they (GNOME) wanted was us to use the official GNOME font,
so as far as I am concerned, they are fine with us using the GNOME foot
over the blue circle. I'll send a message to the GNOME board with the new
logo proposal and the way we want to use the branding in social pages.
Hopefully, we should expect no problems.

Regards.
