Ubuntu Gnome - External display issue

Excuse me, i have mi netbook and connect a 23" Benq, i put it no mirror and
when i put my cursor arrow in the up left corner it show the "gnome splash"
in the two screens. What can i do to only showit in the active display" or
in the main display.
