Is Ubuntu Gnome dead ?

Hi guys,

I wonder to know if Ubuntu Gnome is dead or wether there is some developers
working on and some concerning by specifig Ubuntu Gnome bugs ?

Also I would like to know what's your vision of the future ? With Mir
becoming a reality day after day... next Ubuntu release won't be Gnome
friendly I guess... What do you suggest ? Still talking with Ubuntu
developers ? Fork Ubuntu ? Got to Mint and LMDE and it's ugly website
