Speaking of which, would it be at all possible to change the settings of
that specific option to only wipe the partitions used by Ubuntu itself, or
at least ignore the partition mounted at '/home' (or any subdirectories) if
it is on its own partition? Or, if at all possible, only wipe any partition
used by Ubuntu and not mounted on install (an example would be similar to
on mine where I have '/os' as the mount point for my Windows C:\ drive)?

Or let me put it another way: would it be possible to:

1. Ignore any partition mounted at a root level folder not made in install
(as in not '/root', '/usr', '/sys', etc.),
2. Ignore any partition mounted as a subdirectory of '/mnt', and
3. Ignore any partition mounted as '/home' or any subdirectory?
