A Gedit annoyance and even worth situation in Ubuntu

I believe Ubuntu "translates" that string the same way that GNOME does:
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/raring/+source/gedit/+pots/gedit/zh_CN/75/

Have you verified whether other distros have this problem too? From
what you've soon, this doesn't appear to be a Ubuntu-specific bug so
you'd probably better spend your efforts on trying to get this fixed
in gedit upstream first.
