Ubuntu GNOME logo design

Afternoon,

Personally I find the orange and transparent to be best. It says we are Ubuntu and Gnome while conveying that Gnome while on top disappears into your work flow.

I find the original type faces to be most appealing on my display, and this shows commitment to our roots.

Regardless of the individual characteristics, the concept of the logo is spot on.
