Is there a pathway from a standard Ubuntu installation to Ubuntu Gnome that
doesn't require a full wipe and re-install of the whole OS?

Something along these
lines<http://www.webupd8.org/2012/10/how-to-get-complete-gnome-3-desktop-in.html>
?

Thanks,
Dominik
