Onduleur MGE UPS sur Ubuntu 9.10 64

J'ai installé mon onduleur sur Ubuntu 9.10 64 avec la procédure 
http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/onduleur_mge_ups_systems_psp

psp démarre bien mais me donne immédiatement le message "perte de 
communication"

lsusb me renvoie :

si je lance psp en mode bavard j'obtiens en boucle
