Ok, but the way to access control center is the same in Unity 3D and in Unity 2D as far as I can see. Only in Gnome it's different. But since Gnome is not the fallback in 11.10 anymore you can just go ahead and translate the string, so it fits for Unity I guess. Most people should see Unity anyway. An alternative would be to change the original string to contain a directive for Gnome and one for Unity.
