Hello all!

Oli Smith, our fantastic Desktop PM, is working on the rehaul of the
Desktop section of the ubuntu.com website, giving it some much needed
attention. He approached the Community Team yesterday about having a much
more prominent section for the official flavors that would feature:

   - a recent screenshot
   - a short blurb about each flavor that briefly summarizes its
   features/why users might want to try it, and
   - links to official websites, forums, and other resources.


This seems like a great and long overdue chance to shine a spotlight on the
flavors, and the only catch is that we need this info by the *end of next
week (March 25)* to be sure we get in it for the upcoming refresh of the
website. I will be happy to help with blurb writing and editing - just let
me know if you'd like this help or just send me your long blurb that needs
to be cut down or you bullet points that need to be expanded.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I hope this can be a good
thing for everyone!
