Playdeb aniquila las actualzaciones

¿Cómo reparar el error en la lista de actualizaciones luego de instalar un
video juego? Ya no puedo actualizar NADA!!!. Gracias por atender mi
consulta.

La PC es una AMD 64, Phenom 3, con Ubuntu 9.04 64bits, tarjeta video
integrada Nvidia, el fallo ocurre luego de instalar un video juego
llamado *Neverball
*(el de los balines que se balacean) pero el video salta o se entrecorta por
que no pude bajar los controladores faltantes, están suprimidas las
actualizaciones.
